All to
often Law Enforcement Officers place themselves in harms way for others.
Unfortunately, in many events officers find themselves, or another officer
gravely injured. Past events such as Waco, the North Hollywood incident
and most recently the Burbank Ca, shooting have changed the way law
enforcement officers look at first aid in the field. Medical care in many
of these cases falls to the officer on scene because the scene is not safe
enough for EMS units. This class will also show EMS personnel how to work
with Law Enforcement Officers to complete or take part in the rescue of a
downed officer. |
