Instructor Bios
Eric Stratton, Lead Instructor
Eric A. Stratton is currently the Team Medic and Assistant Tactical Commander of Training for a sixty-person Tactical Response Team. He has spent more than a decade working in the Greater Springfield area as an EMT-Intermediate, currently working with BHS Ambulance. In the past he has worked for Charter, ASA and AMR Ambulance. He completed his Tactical Training with CONTOMS Class #51 and his Advanced Tactical EMS Training from McKnight Associates. In 2002 he had the honor of traveling to the DEA training complex in Quantico, VA. He and fellow instructors spent five days teaching DEA agents Tactical Medicine and Officer Rescue Techniques. Other teaching assignments have included a three day Tactical Medical EMS course at Otis AFB, classes for Springfield College and recently EMS classes at Holyoke Community College.

Mark D. Robbins
Mark D. Robbins joined STS Consulting in December of 2003 as a Staff Instructor. He is now currently the Vice President, Primary Course Instructor and a Program Designer. Mark has 12 honorable years of experience with the US Marine Corps where he served as an Ordnance Technician, Helicopter Crew Chief and Crew Served Weapons Instructor before moving over to the ground side and Weapons Company as a Forward Observer and Scout/Sniper. After his military service, he joined the Law Enforcement community in 1994 and has served in a variety of duties from Patrol Officer, Court Liaison, Narcotics and Contraband Officer and 6 years as an Academy Instructor specializing in Firearms, Tactics and Medical Support. Mark has spent a life time dedicated to serving his country and is now just as dedicated to the training ofour Law Enforcement, Military and Medical Professionals.
Dean R. Blair
Dean R. Blair has served in Operation Iraqi Fredom in various roles including Primary Protective Officer for his clients. He was a combat arms instructor and a military installation security team leader and Team Leader for the 104th HHC 1-104th INF and before that a member of the U.S. Marine Corps from 1989 to 1993.
